* Julie Gerstenblatt Reads/Signs Daughters of Nantucket at Scarsdale Library

On Sunday, March 26, at 3 pm, at the Scarsdale Public Library, former Scarsdale resident Julie Gerstenblatt, will celebrate the release of her new novel, Daughters of Nantucket. (It's 1846, the year of the Great Fire.  Many of the menfolk of Nantucket are away at sea, often for years at a time, and the women on the island know a rare independence — and the challenges that go with it.)  Julie will be interviewed by Scarsdale novelist Brooke Lee Foster.  And we'll be there selling copies of Daughters.  You can also can pick up your copy in advance at the bookstore or order via this link https://www.bronxriverbooks.com/book/9780778333425  This is a FREE event, open to the public, but the Library asks that you register at this link  https://www.scarsdalelibrary.org/event/book-launch-party-daughters-nantucket-julie-gerstenblatt so they can anticipate the likely number of attendees.
