* Rob Bernstein discusses/signs "Uniquely Normal Manual"

On Sunday, Feb. 5, from 5 to 6 pm, meet Robert Bernstein, author of the "Uniquely Normal Manual."  Rob will discuss his commonsense approach, which uses everyday situations to help children with autism progress with language, socialization, and organization.  A FREE in-person event at the bookstore.

"You don’t need a graduate school education to use this method; you have all the knowledge and skills you need," Dr. Bernstein says. "You already know how to do everything necessary to make a difference for your child."

The author believes that whatever he does therapeutically must be on the ASD individual’s terms; he or she must lead. The author's therapy examples are categorized by age groups of 2-5 years of age, 6-10 years of age, 11-14 years of age and 19 years of age and up.
